Today's update adds Audition Mode to the game's Extras menu, which XNA Creators Club members can use to test songs from the Rock Band Network closed beta. It also adds the ability to sort your Rock Band library by the number of stars achieved -- a feature long requested by series fans. Along with all that, you should now be able to download songs from the in-game music store in the background rather than having to sit through the entire transfer.
In addition to those new features, Harmonix also fixed a few problems with the base game. The Ion Drum Rocker velocity sensitivity -- accidentally disabled in a previous update -- should function properly following the update, and the Xbox 360 version of the game now supports Microsoft's Lips wireless microphones. They've also tweaked chord hammer-ons and pull-offs so that they feel more like they do in The Beatles: Rock Band.
