With the the PC edition of Risen slated to arrive on October 2, publisher Deep Silver has released a rather video interview with key members of developer Piranha Bytes.

The latest action-RPG from the Gothic veterans, Risen is also due on Xbox 360 in 2010.

i've read a positive review in PCG Zine, they gave it 84% and said it's just short of a clasic, but otherwise a very good game.

It's great to hear these guys talk about how they make the game they obviously want to (well I'm german, so that's not a big deal - subtitles seem to be 1:1 translations which sometimes leads to strange / funny results). I'm really looking forward to that game.
Also, at 8:30 the bald guy talks about how they had an almost stress-free gold-master phase? I guess 90% of all game developers would love to be able to say the same - and never will. Just wow.
