PS3 Firmware Update Fixes Uncharted Issues

Addressing complaints that latest PlayStation 3 firmware update (v3.00) caused some to experience freezing issues while playing Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Sony has released an optional firmware update (v3.01) meant to alleviate the problem.

"This will fix the issues that some users have experienced with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune," Sony's Eric Lempel wrote on the PlayStation.Blog. The anticipated sequel to the PlayStation 3 exclusive recently went gold and is due in North America October 13.

Well that's good, I started playing this a couple weeks ago and I had no freezing issues. Good to see that I never will!

I think only some models had problems. I played Uncharted 1 fine on my launch 60gb with 3.0 just fine.
