Carrier Command Screenshots: Launch All Fighters
by Alice O'Connor, Sep 14, 2009 9:15am PDTArmA developer Bohemia Interactive has released the first screenshots of Carrier Command: Gaea Mission, its reinvention of Realtime Games' classic simulator-strategy hybrid Carrier Command from 1988 for the Commodore 64, Amiga and ZX Spectrum.
"First-person action and true strategic play combine," Bohemia boasts, as you build a network of islands to mine, manufacture and upgrade tech, entering battle yourself in vehicles to undermine and ultimately destroy an enemy carrier with similar objectives.
Carrier Command is slated for release on PC and "next gen consoles" in spring 2010.

FUCK THIS SHIT.
If the developer just updated the graphics and interfaces, and didn't change the gameplay a single bit, it would be a blockbuster, in my opinion. The simplicity and simple fun of it would be a big hit.
