Uncharted 2 Gone Gold

I just don't get the hype on this one. I really got sick of the first one, the combat was just blah to me and the puzzles were bland. The art direction is pretty good but the graphics don't wow me very much. :\ Maybe i'm broken.

Tomb Raider with better characters, story and gameplay.

I still need to finish the first one, with the latest patch it has made this game unplayable from all the freezing. I was able to skip the update and play for awhile but now it is not even loading, it just goes to a black screen and does nothing. NEED a FIX@!!!

I don't know anything about this. Looks generic and uninteresting on first impression.

What makes this game good again?

Is Uncharted 2 going to be 1080p or 720p like the first game?

I also hope that now since it went gold maybe Naughty Dog can spend some time fixing the Uncharted bug the 3.0 firmware introduced. I'd like to finish the game.

Im definitely getting this game, i dunno if i wanna pre order though as i dunno when im getting another check. I want it now though damnit!!! errrr decisions....

I'm not one for sparking debates about which system is superior. But I have trouble believing any 360 game has textures that sharp and graphics that clean. This game looks simply amazing. The first one was pretty, this was is insane. The amount of detail the put in is top-notch. Naughty Dog is really flexing some dev muscle with this series.

Gold, more than a month before release? Doesn't this seem excessively early?

By the way, I have no doubt that U2 will be in consideration for game of the year. The soundtrack alone is more epic and fun than 99% of all other games. And don't get me started on the animations...

This game looks spectacular I can't wait to play it. Oh how much I wish Socom Confrontation ran on this graphics engine it would be the best game ever.
