New Brink Screenshots Display Police Brutality

Four new screenshots of Splash Damage's Brink emerged from publisher Bethesda this morning, offering a fresh look at the next game coming from the Quake Wars veterans.

It doesn't really come across in the screenshots, but Brink is a class-based single- and multiplayer first-person shooter coming to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in spring 2010.

Fuck this, I guess we'll never see footage from QuakeCon for this or Rage. Some extended footage for either would be appreciated.

They were demoing at PAX, surprised they haven't aired any of that footage yet.

As at Quakecon, they asked everyone to turn off their cameras. Somebody leaked a bit of the PAX demo but it was very poor quality and you could tell very little about the game that hasn't already been seen in screenshots.

I loved the interview where the single player with drop in coop/competitive multiplayer was described as as mingleplayer. Much better than the when Arkane called it cross-play.

Speaking of Arkane, I really hope The Crossing ends up being finish even though it was put on hold. I've never seen a developer do first person combat as good as them in DMMM

So so very true. :/ I finished that game three times purely on the strength of the combat.
