This, however, just looks like they took the first game and added in dumb stuff. Why do we need a merchant system? This isn't an rpg, it's an assassination game. Why can't we just steal whatever we need? (like when you needed more throwing knives in the first game) . The guy went on about how they added in a bunch of new acrobatic stuff, but the only new thing that I saw was the "swinging from a lantern to turn a corner". Did anyone else feel like the chase scene in the underground was very scripted? The best part of the chases from the first game is that they weren't scripted.
What I will admit to liking about it is the new items. Well. Really just the smoke bomb. And the poison. Maybe. The gun is just a louder throwing knife (and isn't nearly as cool).
It didn't help that the guy narrating this sounded like he was talking about paint drying.

Welcome to repetitive task number 35! Climb this tall tower and jump into some hay.

But anyways, what really frustrated me was that if I left some tasks not completed in some memory block, but already got to the next block, I actually should play the whole god damn memory block through just to get that one task completed. Who the fuck decided about that..
So that's the first one, the second has a lot to do with the first one. You can't skip the important dialogue. God I hate that. I should play the earlier block again from the start and listen to ALL the dialogue that I've already heard? Gimme a break.
And the third thing is quitting the game. This was a serious WTF for me. Okay, you press esc to bring up the menu, quit game, yes I want to quit *LOADING* Now I'm laying in the memory machine (whatever it was called), here I can't bring up the menu, so I exit it, press esc, quit game, yes I want to quit *LOADING* This brings me up to profile selection (no, you can't bring up any menu here), I select my profile, NOW I'm finally in the main menu, exit game, yes I want to exit. Thank god I'm out of the game now. Once again I have to say: WTF.
The last thing is those View points, why are they always the same boring type of towers? And as they're so boring, why is there so many? Please make an effort to that in the second one.
That's about it for now.

1) (3:50) Nice to have a cart load of hay in some deep dark catacomb. I always seem to leave some random object that will otherwise help me later on. Lol.
2) (4:28) Doors that open upward in ancient settings. Star Trek perfected the doors that open sideways and that's in the future. Lol.
3) (6:13) The back entrance. Why not start in the sewer and you'll be right at the "special reward" and avoid all the messy fighting with the guards. Lol.
Was a fan of the first one, and yes, will be picking this one up too.

Goddamn that presentation was boring as hell. Garrison Keillor couldn't have delivered a more mundane presentation. And the touted 'secret area' gameplay mechanics made it look like they were attempting to tape into the acrobatic-puzzle-jumping fun of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time but without any of the charm or interesting architecture.
Eh. Lookin' like this series is getting a 'pass' in my book.
