Free Batman: Arkham Asylum DLC Coming to All Platforms Next Week

The news that Rocksteady is ready to release downloadable content for its popular superhero adventure Batman: Arkham Asylum is not a surprise, but the fact that it will be free certainly is.

An in-game scrolling news ticker says that free DLC is headed to the game in nine days, or on September 17. No other details on the content are available yet, outside of Eidos' confirmation that it will hit all platforms (PC, 360, PS3) simultaneously.

The only games that consoles/console controllers do better on is fighting and football games. Thats it. Everyhting else, PC reigns.

sweet. Just finished the main game %100 and all the challenges (couldn't get all 3 medals in the fighting challenges to get %100 for full game :( my old man reflexes just can't cope I guess). I keep seeing the little DLC check when the game loads and wonder when it's coming and how much it will cost. Free is good. Dev's should know the first DLC is free to folks who buy the game (new) as a thank you for the gamer's support. Then the masses love you. THEN you can start nickel and diming us to death.
