Shack PSA: Buy 1, Get 1 Half-Off on PS3 Games

As the crowded holiday season approaches, Best Buy is using the age-old trick of a nice sale to help clear out excess inventory.

Running for "a limited time" (presumably until end of business on Saturday, September 12), the retailer is offering to knock half-off any PlayStaiton 3 game "59.99 or lower" so long as you pay full-price for another regularly priced PlayStation 3 game of equal or higher value.

Unfortunately, the pricing restrictions mean that the $250 The Beatles: Rock Band Limited Edition Premium Bundle isn't applicable, and online pre-orders aren't eligible either, but it's still nice way to catch up on any PlayStation 3 games you've been eying.

That is really lame that your first game can't be the beatles rock band. I can easily see limiting the second one to $60 (that's the one that gets the discount).
