Shack PSA: 25% off Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic at Direct2Drive

7
To celebrate the $10 digital PC release of its Star Wars RPG Knights of the Old Republic, BioWare is offering a coupon for a 25% discount at Direct2Drive to all who register for its Old Republic community website before September 15.

The critically-acclaimed RPG serves as a bargain entry point to Star Wars' Old Republic period, which takes place thousands of years before the movies and will play host to BioWare's upcoming Star Wars: The Old Republic MMORPG.

Knights of the Old Republic also hit Steam, though no discount is on offer there.

basically you download the full game and install it and it acts like a game with a no-cd check crack but legal. no interface to load it through

A feature Valve should shot for. Stop trying to be the "Big Brother" of PC gaming.

Waagh, waagh, waagh... Instead of whining about it, how about not using it? I think Steam is excellent as it provides a way to connect you to your friends fairly seamlessly. Plus I can load Steam and launch the majority of the games I play, all from a single window.
