Comments
If you previously had a "no-cd hack", you will have to do a reinstall from disc, cause the "no-cd hack" has a different "bf2.exe" file.
Make sure you manually update Punkbuster: http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php

If your like me and have to do a total re-install, I believe this is the order, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
To ensure a proper installation of the Battlefield 2 series, please install in the following order.
If you do not have all of the expansion and booster packs, please skip and install the next software on the list.
1. Install Battlefield 2. (Note: If you have the Battlefield 2 Deluxe pack, install and skip to step 3.)
2. Install Battlefield 2: Special Forces. (If you have it)
3. Install the 1.41 full patch [Download here] if needed.
4. Install the 1.50 (Booster packs are FREE and included)
Once this is done, you will have the complete installation of the Battlefield 2 series lineup.

If you have an older version of FRAPS running you may get kicked by Punkbuster for Corrupted File/Memory [120148]. To solve this problem update to the latest version of FRAPS or close it while playing BF2.

Plus, i REALLY want to play the booster pack maps in singleplayer so i can learn the layout and stuff but from what i've read thats impossible. is there any way possible that i can bypass this?
AND FURTHERMORE... is there any way possible to play singleplayer/ co-op against bots on the larger maps? by default, the game only allows the 16 player maps. lame. is there a way to play the 32 and 64 player maps other than online?

Jumped into a multiplayer game, nothing but spam from a commander who can point out every enemy on the map every second.
Here's hoping!

The patching system in BF2 is seriously flawed, it will probably take a better part of half an hour for this patch to patch the game too.
