Rapstar Screenshots Bring Tartar Sauce, Celery

4
According to representatives of 4mm Games, these new screenshots from its hip-hop karaoke game Def Jam Rapstar are meant to illustrate "sleek in-game elements" and "cutting edge community features." If you ask me though, the real star here is celery.

Helmed by Rockstar veterans, Rapstar is due this winter on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

Now if only they actually included real hip hop in this karaoke game, instead of clowns like Jeezy. Then at least kids would get clever lyrics stuck in their head, as opposed to the banal choruses of the current mainstream turdstorm.

If people want clever lyrics, or anything that can hold a candle to intellect, they need to turn away from rap and hip-hop altogether.

A delightfully uninformed opinion thanks to the precise artists I'm citing as the problem.

The "current mainstream turdstorm" is what is going to initially sell copies. Maybe they can add what you consider "real" hip-hop as DLC.

I think people would still buy it if they put bigger name emcees with skill like Biggie, 2Pac, Eminem, or Wu Tang. Then they could sneak in lots of other classic artists like Kool G Rap, KRS-One, Kool Keith, Mr. Lif, etc
