Following the recent announcement that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will hit PSP October 20, developer Rockstar has now issued screenshots of the enhanced port.

Arriving as both a physical UMD and a PlayStation Store digital download, the PSP release of Chinatown Wars is said to pack numerous improvements over the Nintendo DS original, including new missions, upscaled graphics and better animation.

I really should just sit down and finish GTA: Chinatown Wars for the DS.. it was an amazing experience up to the part I got to, and I didn't really do any of the real missions (just explore and side stuff) ... although I have not played a GTA game since the PS2 days, so it was a fresh experience for me :)

Yes. It is very tight on the DS. I feel like it will lose out somewhat on the psp. The grenade throwing on the touch screen was brilliant. You can't duplicate that with an analog stick (it comes close).

Though of course, they say it will look nicer.

Hopefully they make a sequel to the DS for the DS.

i hate using the touch screen for games so i actually thing the psp version will gain something in that regard. plus it's a much wider and clearer screen so it should be able to show more of the action

sales for the DS version didn't live up to expectations, so i wouldn't hold my breath for a sequel. a shame, really.

Wait. Yes, they can... for the DS 2 in a few years' time with better graphics.
