Beatles: Rock Band 'Here Comes The Sun' Video

God I love this song so much. I can't wait to play through this entire album.

Everyone is praising this, and of course great song at all, but the animation looks kinda stiff. I know they are not going for photorealism but there can be more expression and energy when they sing. A lot of 3d models mesh falls apart if they are contorted in the wrong way for animation. But I've seen many examples, some even years ago, of amazing, energetic 3d animation perfectly lip-synced to a musical vocal track.

This looks fantastic....looking forward to it a lot. From all the game footage I've seen it's safe to say they've done the music justice, I think.

Glad its RB doing this game and not GH, RB are far better at making accurate drum patterns than GH.

Astronomer and science popularizer Carl Sagan had wanted the song to be included on the Voyager Golden Record, copies of which were attached to both spacecraft of the Voyager program to provide any entity that recovered them a representative sample of human civilization. Although the Beatles favoured the idea, EMI refused to release the rights and when the probes were launched in 1977 the song was not included.

I've never been into Rock Band or Guitar Hero, but watching this video made me realize just how far video games have come as an art form. This has always been one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands and the rest of my day will be better for having seen this.

What gets me is that marketing firms believe GH5 will outsell TBRB 2:1 this season. (I think it was 3.5 M to 1.7 M by predictions)

Now, I don't think that people are going to be ignoring GH5, but GH5 purchasers will likely be the same group of people that have purchased all previous GH games (like me) and is not a title that is necessarily a "new sell" to people that never have played a GH/RB game before.

TBRB, on the other hand, is being pushed as a game that anyone that never has played RB/GH can pick up and enjoy. They're pushing the instruments bundles (both with and without the special Bealtes themed), they've got VH1 pushing the product, etc. etc.

I can't tell if TBRB would beat GH5 in sales, but I would think the numbers would be a heck of a lot closer than the predicted 2:1.

Now if only Harmonix could get Led Zeppelin to sign a deal to do a Rock Band game, we'd be golden

animation are really nice.. i think it will be the first music game where I actually spend time looking whats going on in the background
