The Force Unleashed Sith Edition Takes on Hoth

6
LucasArts gives us a peek at The Force Unleashed's Hoth mission with this new batch of screenshots. The mission will be included exclusively in the upcoming Sith Edition of the game, and sees the player traveling to the ice planet to do battle with Luke Skywalker in a bit of Sith revisionist history.

The Sith Edition hits this holiday on PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

    Dear Lucasarts,

If you price this game at $30 and put it on steam with a nice pre-order bonus I will gladly buy it.

    Thanks for caring,

Considering this game never came to PC, they'd be pretty justified in charging full price for it there.

Now that most of us know that it sucked on the consoles, a PC release should be discounted, but I doubt they'll do it.

I liked it...a lot. It only had two real flaws to me and that was locking on to objects and slow menu screens.

Definitely full price imo, too bad the port is wayyy too late.

PC games and ports are a luxury for devs. I believe that most houses would like to release on the PC despite the fact that it probably won't make much money. For the first round of TFU, console was all they could justify. Risk had to be kept low. It did well, better than expected, and now they have some extra leeway for this go around. We should count ourselves lucky they decided to take the time to make a PC version.

I'd love to know who they expect to buy this, other than people without a console and no internet access for reviews/opinion.

It's not fit to sleep at the feet of Jedi Knight, it will be released at full price, (no doubt with ludicrous copy protection or online integration nobody wants) and it's a year since it came out elsewhere to a general consensus of "meh". And it will flop and piracy will be blamed.

Just who are LucasArts kidding? Stop fucking about and make Jedi Knight 3 PC etc.

I'll end up buying it, although I already have it on PS3. I thoroughly enjoyed the game - there were a few stupid problems but overall I felt it mixed with the universe pretty well and I enjoyed the force action oriented game play even if it felt gimmicky. I would like to see a live action movie done with this character but I hate how Lucas is obsessed with green screen now-a-days.

I think it is retailing for $40 at least on consoles.

$30 PC version on steam would be nice.

      I predict a $40 dollar price point.
