Nick kicks back at BlizzCon to reacquaint himself with his dear friend the wizaaaaaaard and befriend Diablo 3's monk. Even Maarten's in on the fun, hitting up Gamescom to enjoy countless video games in a sophisticated European manner including Borderlands, which he said looked particularly splendid before sucking on a clove cigarillo.
Me? Well, knowing that events are far more work than they might appear to be, I'm secretly a little glad that I end up staffing the office to post the flood of media, even if it does mean I miss out on playing all the fancy pants video games before the hoi polloi.
That being said, the new ads are bullshit. Moreover, nuking threads about the ads is even worse. geedeck asked me to direct my questions to staff instead of "randomly" posting about it here. When did discussing Shack policy become random, let alone nukable? The whole point of my question earlier was to see if anyone else here felt the same way. I don't want some mod's response repeating what GameFly's offical line. I want to see what posters think. Maybe I'm overreacting but I was one of the people that scoffed at the notion that Steve's sale of the Shack would change anything here. Maybe I was wrong.

As for other retarded posts, yeah the kind of shit that says "I just accidentally stabbed my self / wife / dog / cat / whatever in the eye and I need advice! help shack!". Call that back seat moderating or whatever, but honestly, a game forum is no place for any sort of real and serious immediate advice; It's one thing to ask ra1n for some hypothetical law advice, it's entirely another when you are seeking immediate medical attention for serious problems that go well beyond the expertise (or the general maturity level) of the shack.
As for supporting the shack, I do: I recommended it, I have a bolt, I contribute, and I am here making this post... and I also use an ad-blocker; guess I don't belong then eh?
