Shack PSA: Weekend Deals on Beyond Good & Evil, 1701 AD, Canadian Batman

14
Breaking news--not only do video games other than Diablo III, World of Warcraft and StarCraft 2 exist, but this weekend you can pick up some of them for a pittance.

GOG is offering the excellent Beyond Good & Evil and fabulous Prince of Persia: Sands of Time in a $9.99 bundle--saving 50%--or individually with 30% off for $6.99.

Steam's leading sale is 50% off 1701 AD Gold Edition, offering 18th century conquering and management for $15. Puzzler Droplitz is $2, a huge saving of 80%.

Killing Floor is down to $18 with a modest saving of 10%, but hey--it's great monster-bashing fun worth the money. $9 Osmos also only has 10% off, and also is worth it.

Our dear friends in Canada can currently pre-order Batman: Arkham Asylum on Xbox 360 and PS3 for an incredible $38.83 (Canadian, of course) at Best Buy, Future Shop and Walmart (linked platforms may vary). Thanks for the tip, manlyman.

We've been rushed off our feet with all the Blizzard news, so please do point out any hot deals and ultra bargains that might have escaped our crazed red eyes.

BGAE is the second most underrated 3d platformer next to Psychonauts

1701 AD Gold for 50% is not a bad deal either. If you love city sims, this is the game to get.

I bought Beyond Good and Evil a year or two back. I really enjoyed it for what it is, but I have never been able to play it through to the very end.

I bought it for $5 off gamersgate, and I two weeks ago played it for about an hour repeatedly saying WTF to myself the whole time. I haven't touched it since.
