In a brief respite from the today's BlizzCon blitz, Square Enix has released a wealth of new assets from its upcoming MMO Final Fantasy XIV, which is slated to arrive next year. Along with the above screenshots, we also got new artwork of weapons and monsters.

Final Fantasy XIV will launch on PC and PS3, and could come to Xbox 360 later on.
