Blizzard: Don't Expect Diablo 3 in 2010
by Chris Faylor, Aug 21, 2009 12:26pm PDTMuch to the chagrin of those who were expecting Diablo III to arrive next year, Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime has confirmed that just-revealed World of Warcraft expansion Cataclysm and StarCraft II are the two titles the company expects to hit in 2010.
Morhaime made the revelation while talking with BlizzCon Live hosts Geoff Keighley and Kat Hunter, with more details on Blizzard's projects expected as BlizzCon continues.

Well Not that blizzard will miss my money but i have no interest in any blizzard game till diablo 3. So it may be till 2011 till they see any more of my money.

I mean, I really do appreciate that they put a lot of effort and polish and creativity (visual, at least) into their products, bur for God's sake... They haven't put out anything other than Warcraft THIS ENTIRE DECADE, and the decade will be over by the time D3 hits.
It may be worth the wait, but it's still slooooooooooooow by any rational standard for a company with the absolutely massive level of resources they have available.

I wish blizzard would only announce games when theyre a year (2 max), away.
This Blizzcon is turning into such a downer for me. A WoW expansion that for some reason just doesnt get me excited (at all) and Diablo3 seemingly further away than ever.
