New Red Steel 2 screenshots and a walkthrough video narrated by creative director Jason VandenBerghe unveil unseen features and introduce additions to Ubisoft Paris's Wii shooter since it was last shown at E3, including attack combos and ninja enemies.

Click on through for a mildly discoloured walkthrough showing six minutes of in-game footage with explanation by the soothingly-voiced VandenBerghe.

Swordplay in Sports Resort is my fave Wii game right now. The controls are remarkably excellent. If the controls are as good as Sports Resort, I am going to fucking LOVE this game.

This game already has two strikes against it in my book, the first being it's UbiSoft, the second it has Red Steel in its title -- which was an awful FPS with a really stupid AI. BUT, this game actually looks fun and I really enjoy the sword-fighting in Wii sports, so I'm torn...

Ah, shame, looks like the Wii STILL doesn't have one-to-one motion for fast movements, even with Motion Plus.

Still, it's not going to stop me buying the game - Red Steel 1 was fun, but flawed, so Red Steel 2 should be good if they don't repeat their mistakes.
