A new trailer for TimeGate Studios' shooter Section 8 introduces its concept of 'dynamic combat missions,' objectives and scenarios created on the fly in multiplayer.

You'll also get to ogle varied turrets and vehicles available for deployment when Section 8 arrives September 1 on PC and Xbox 360--with the PC able to host Xbox servers.

      Personally, not the best game that I've played but I really enjoyed it. I think it actually tries to put depth with fun gameplay. I'm still picking it up.

      You're in a giant battle suit capable of falling from space and impacting into the ground at incredible speeds... Why would you expect to move at the same speed as say Call of Duty or Battlefield?

          it's really not tribes style. I went and played Tribes 2 after trying the S8 beta and while S8 reminded me of Tribes initially the combat is SO different... There is no Tribes without Skiing. S8 uses a turbo run to get you around the map but the actual firefights are console paced.

            This is exactly my problem with it. You have something like skiiing without any skill or nuance to it, and it's only role in combat is to flank/ambush people.
