Publisher Capcom today announced that Airtight Games' jetpack-tastic Dark Void will launch in North America on January 12, 2010, then land in Europe on January 15.

Capcom expects to sell 2 million copies of Dark Void by April 2010, having delayed the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 vertically-oriented shooter to "Avoid competition."

  Visually it's all so very familiar, so it's a shame that they are showing this rather than the crazy jetpacking shooty-shoots and whatnot, which are certainly more distinct.
  
  Plus I want to see more video of that guy flailing as he takes off.
