Evian's Competition

The unappetizing story of the day comes from California where a team is looking at taking toilet water and trying to purify it for 5 years and then send it back into the public drinking water system.

``This is human waste,'' said Lori Dinkin of the Valley Villagers Homeowners Association in an interview with the suburban Daily News newspaper. ``I'm very uneasy about that.'' Dinkin was unimpressed by assurances by the DWP that the water was safe, telling the paper: ``They also said that about Love Canal. And they have said all these lovely things about Agent Orange. I don't like to think about this.''

Who the fuck ever said Agent Orange was good for you? It was designed to kill foliage...the government just didn't give a fuck if troops or natives were exposed...nobody ever said it was safe to drink...

I say, bring on this turlet water. Hell, theres a water reclaimation plant about ten minutes from my house, aren't they already recylcling my toilet water? Explains the funky smell you get in that part of town sometimes...

This water will most likely be cleaner than any water you can get from a stream, so people just need to drop all these hangups...

    (already drinks from the toilet.)
