PlayStation 3 Firmware 3.00 Preview

The PlayStation blog has thrown together a video highlighting many of the changes in the upcoming PlayStation 3 firmware 3.00 update.

Major additions such as the "What's New" section are detailed, along with minor features and fixes like the status indicator, custom themes, and a redesigned friends list.

interesting "What's new" section...looks like they are borrowing a few ideas with live content updates similar to NXE.

  Which in turn, "took" it from a billion other portals out there. That layout is not new, ironically.

  Everyone copies everything you need to learn that early. Even Microsoft copies stuff.
