Ok, god dammit, stop making my PS3 do shit I don't want it to.

I will never use Home. Stop making it the default on that tab. Done, but badly. Hell, let me just remove the fucking icon so I'll stop accidentally selecting it.
I will pretty much never use this, don't make it the default. Have it default on startup to whatever item I used last time. If I turned it off while playing a game, have that game be the default option on reboot.
Make it so that when I enter a folder, the selected item is the one that the folder showed a preview of. This is common sense, people. Why show me Fat Princess and then highlight fucking Noby Noby Boy halfway down the page.

Just seems like they're months behind the Xbox 360. Besides the new themes this is really pretty boring and certainly not worth making a big deal about.

It's probably something I'll stop caring about shortly but the new background animation features have potential. There could be some really cool professional themes released by developers. Plus I'm a total sucker for metadata and I expect some developers will take advantage of this new feature to develop some really neat intros when you highlight the disc in the XMB.
