Sega: Vote for the Next Genesis Classic on XBLA

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Genesis console, Sega is allowing fans to decide which Sega Genesis game will be ported to Xbox Live next.

The company is running a poll on GenesisPoll.com, with the following games on the ballot:

Earthworm Jim
Golden Axe II
Shining Force
Revenge of Shinobi
Streets of Rage
Toejam & Earl
Wonderboy

Earthworm Jim is unsurprisingly the clear leader, with 47% of the vote so far. Get in there and fight for your rights, Toejam & Earl fans.

If they do Earthworm Jim I'd rather them port the SNES version, the color palette was much better on the SNES version. Or hopefully they would just use the original source art, but I highly doubt that.

Revenge of Shinobi but I'd rather see Last Battle. Last battle is way better than all of those games and it has that eerie vibe to it especially when you fight that green hulk guy and his face pudges up.

The Worm is good and all, no question. But there is one game I've yet to see anyone mention. Whatever happened to "Boogerman" anyway? Now there's a game that cries nostalgia! I mean, come on. That game made sure fart jokes were everyday commonplace for us all.

Shining Force. Sweet mother of god, Shining Force.

Streets of Rage (the first one) bites, the Genesis version of Golden Axe II is "meh" and Earthworm Jim is what I'm slowly trying to relearn right now and it's fucking brutal. It's a technically amazing game, but the difficulty is way more insane than I remember.
