      What if 15 minutes is enough to give you a good idea of what the game is like? (I have no idea if this is true)

      DEMO = DEMONSTRATION.

      It's to show you a demonstration of the product. You don't need to play half the game to decide whether or not it's worth buying.

      You can always play it again if you really want more than 15 minutes?

      Beats the hell out of the 0 minutes you had before the demo was released.

      I wouldn't bother downloading over 1 gig for 15 minutes of playtime either.

        Did you download the Batman demo? Because that was almost 2 gigs and far less playing time. Or is this game not high profile enough?

          Nope, didn't grab the batman demo. Usually if a demo is too big, I'll just youtube it and watch someone else play through it.

          If you only got 15 minutes out of the Batman demo you were doing something wrong.

        I do that for porn films all the time and rarely get over 10 minutes with them.

      Well, when 1-2Gb is the difference between me spending wisely or wasting $80, I think it's a good use of my downloads.

      I pre-ordered Batman PC (ZOMG AWESUM BATARANG EEEDISHUN!) last week based on the strength of the demo. Companies could learn from this.

        Completely agree. I ordered Batman too immediately after playing the demo... twice. I then went back and played it again.

        I think 1-2GB isn't really that much to download to give yourself an idea of what the game is like. And as MeetaNob said, if you don't like the demo, you saved yourself some cash.

        I much prefer to play a demo of a game before I buy - except for CoD:MW2 which I have pre-ordered already.
