ARMA 2 Standalone Expansion Announced
by Alice O'Connor, Aug 13, 2009 7:45am PDTA new ARMA II standalone expansion titled 'Operation Arrowhead' will deploy to the hilly fictional Central Asian country of Takistan, Bohemia Interactive has announced today.
Players will be resorting peace and protecting civilians as the US Army in roles "from basic infantrymen, through special operatives, to pilots and tank crew," says Bohemia.
"This will not only allow us to introduce a new and original theater of war... but also improve numerous areas of the core game, for both the original game and the expansion, where we can go even further with adding completely new features," said Bohemia CEO Marek Spanel of the PC battlefield simulator's expansion.
No release date has been given for ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead.
