although, when was the last time a game got factions "right"? it's not an uncommon feature, and people get excited, but ultimately it always feels tacked on doesn't make your decisions any more interesting.

Eh, I don't want to be too hard on the game; AC1 was still pretty fun - but it felt very much like a missed opportunity.
My biggest concern is that they spend the time to optimize the game properly for the PC. When your system can run just about anything else on the market on max details and a high resolution, but the original still has to be run on low or medium settings, something is wrong and it's not with the end-user.
