The first trailer for Sacred 2 expansion pack Ice & Blood delivers all one could ever hope for in a European fantasy RPG--a dramatic voice-over, dragons, and a rock soundtrack.

Along with the Dragon Mage class, the expansion will bring new locations, enemies and quests to Ascaron's action RPG. Ice & Blood will arrive on PC in Germany on August 28, with the international release not yet dated. A console version is also planned.

Ice & Blood was developed on PC by Studio 2, which closed last month. The title will be taken over by publisher/developer DeepSilver, who published Sacred 2.

    OMG that was epic!

This is my favorite game action rpg of all time, at the moment and I play it every day.

Very good to see this, the German version comes out on the 28 of Aug so looks like the international will be out shortly as well.

Good times, thanks for the video I had no idea you could morph into the a Dragon with the new class, that was epic.

"A person paid to endorse a product favourably, while pretending to be impartial; An accomplice at a confidence trick during an auction or gambling game; To promote as a fan or customer; To put under cover; to sheal"

I am not sure why I bother...

You caught me I am the lead developer for Sacred 2. We all got sacked please buy my game I will see all profit when you buy it... man some of you are just plain...

Did you even know that the game(SC2) has been out for a couple years and that the expansion might not if be released to North America so what would be my point to push this game?

You are a smart one indeed; I bet you work for Blizzard.

What the fuck is with you people?

Can a person not like a game and be a fan?

I love action RPG's and this happens to be the one I am playing now, I guess it be cooler if I bashed the game... WTF

Is it a crime I think the game is awesome minus some of the crash on the pc?

what makes Sacred 2 sucky other than the fact that it's not Diablo?

let's get one thing straight, I'm not a fan boy. I'm open to all new ideas and everything but...

              what makes this game sucky?

sucky quests, sucky camera, sucky gameplay, sucky voice acting, sucky programming. one and only one thing good about it is the scenery. it looks great, but apart from that...

The second I saw the alien cyborg werewolf thing that shoots laser beams from its eyes, or whatever, I almost pulled out early. I persisted, though and was greeted with crappy, uninspired gameplay. It feels like a bargain bin title and in no way deserves the 500TB install on my PC.

The existence of bugs in the first week. Remember, on this site software never changes or is fixed, so the issues present at any point in the game's development can never be changed.

Sacred 2 has been awesome ever since the first patch. People need to STFU.

One more point, have you played Sacred 2?

There is no action RPG that comes close to the amount of customization, upgrades, loot, etc etc etc and if you just watched the trailer you would be pretty happy as well.

I bet if was a trailer for Diablo 4 and showed a new class that was a Dragon Mage there would already be a 1000 post of how awesome it is.

        What a bunch of sheep.

sadly, I did play sacred 2. horrible game.

btw, are you saying that sacred is better than d2? fail...

do you mean d3? of course we would, d2 was and still is a legendary game, so I would be expecting it, unlike this. not thrilled at all.

I tried playing this game 3 times because I wanted to like it. Really really wanted to like it. In the end, i just can't get into it because of the lackluster art and clunky gameplay. 2 things you will never find in a Blizzard game, mind you (baaaa). You're entitled to your opinion, of course and it's great you're having such a blast with the game. You have to learn to take the piss if you're going to post on the internet, though ;)

I agree. I love Action RPGs but something about this game just does not draw me in. I remember beta testing this game and giving my opinion that there is just to much in the game. They need to refine it and give you more of a clear cut story on what you should be doing. I swear you can spend days in just one town helping the 100s of NPCs that have junk quests for you to do.

This game needs to cut out all the joke / junk quests, put in some good dungeons, and boss / named mobs. When this is done give us a story worth getting involved in. As it stands it is an action rpg with no direction. For those of us that are so in need of a good Action RPG we will buy it, do our best to stick with it in hopes that later on in the game something finally happens that makes us like it. The ones that give up will most likely go back to Diablo or Titan Quest.

I enjoy it as well Valcan :)

I'm also a huge fan of action-rpg genre, and Titan Quest was starting to get a bit boring and this game pretty much fills my action-rpg needs currently. I'm also not sure how people can say it's horrible.

It is no Diablo, but I'd agree with Valcan when he says that if you enjoy this genre, it is the BEST available CURRENTLY.

Ya TQ is an awesome game that is for sure, I just wish it had more class specific character models so the main was no so generic (I plan to chang this in my mod)

Ya D2 is very well done ation rpg that is for sure and is a favortie, I still play it as well since a HD patch was released you have to try it if you have not, playing it in wide screen is freeking awesome. http://www.moddb.com/games/diablo-2/downloads/d2multires-version-102

Titan Quest and Sacred 2 are my top two action RPGs ever, even higher on my list than Diablo. I cannot wait for this expansion to hit stateside.
