Brutal Legend Soundtrack Will Rock Your Face
by Alice O'Connor, Aug 10, 2009 3:34am PDTThe 108-track soundtrack listing for Double Fine's heavy metal fantasy Brutal Legend has emerged, accidentally revealed by EA Denmark and confirmed by GameDaily.

With former publisher Activision's legal attempt to block the release of Brutal Legend settled out of court, the game will arrive Rocktober 13 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Please allow me to be a metal snob for a second, it is Megadeth not Megadeath. I'm sure it was some corporate bigwig who typed it up, I am not concerned this will affect the quality of the game. Stay grim my metal brethren.

"Lay it Down" by Ratt is a good choice for a game soundtrack, no matter what you think of them in general.

Maybe a bit of Iron Maiden wouldn't have hurt either.

As hard as it will be in this case I can also hope that a PC version will be announced during that time.

Dare I say it? Will this be the game to make me purchase a 360 or PS3?

That Dimmu Borgir song could be used at a pretty epic moment in the game if used right.
