Shack PSA: 30% Off The Witcher on Steam

42
To celebrate nudity's return to North American copies of The Witcher in its Director's Cut, Steam has slashed CD Projekt Red's action RPG's price by 30% down to $27.99.

The Witcher proved a surprisingly refreshing, engaging, and mature RPG, silly "sex cards" aside. FileShack plays host to a demo if you want to try before you buy.

The offer will run until August 12, though bear in mind Steam will be down for a few hours' maintenance tonight and The Witcher is unavailable on Steam in some regions.

:( as much as I would love to help, it's beyond our control. You could probably get it digitally via Atari.com, but of course that wouldn't be discounted this week... or in Steam.

Only NA version is on Steam, but it's a great game.

You can find The Witcher for cheaper prices in European retail anyways.
The original version can be patched to the Enhanced Edition at no cost.

Even if not available on Steam in your region - this game is worth to purchase. I have the limited edition (brick & mortar buy) and was totally happy, also it offers lots of re-playability and a great story on top.

You can get around it easily by accessing the site through a proxy.
Of course whether you feel safe entering cc info through a proxy site is a different matter :P
