Batman: Arkham Asylum Demo Due This Week
by Chris Faylor, Aug 03, 2009 9:13am PDTA downloadable demo of Rocksteady's detective comic brawler Batman: Arkham Asylum will be available worldwide this Friday, August 7, publisher Eidos announced today.
The demo will be available in three flavors--PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360--with the retail version of Arkham Asylum hitting the same platforms August 25. As the PS Store is usually updated on Thursdays, don't be surprised if the demo debuts a bit early.
The download, which kicks off as Batman delivers The Joker to Arkham Asylum, is said to sample the "Invisible Predator" stealth and "FreeFlow combat" mechanics, as well as provide a glimpse of the "infamous foes" players will face off against in the full version.
