Weekend Deal Roundup: Dawn of War 2 Cheapness, Splinter Cell: Fire Sale, and Battle Chess
by Nick Breckon, Jul 31, 2009 11:53am PDTThis week's weekend deals are obviously headlined by Steam's massive 50%-off sale on Relic games, but there are a few other discounts of note, including $5 copies of past Splinter Cell games. There's even something for the chess fans.
- Relic fans are happy with Steam's weekend sale. Dawn of War 2 is $25, while Company of Heroes Gold and Tales of Valor are each $15.
- Direct2Drive still has Dawn of War 2 for $25, and is offering a $5 discount on Braid.
- Impulse has a crazy deal on its Crazy Machines bundle, cutting $20 off the price. They also have a few $5 deals on assorted titles.
- GoGamer, as usual, has plenty of cheap PC games:
- GamersGate is running a special on The Guild, offering six games in the series at a 40% discounted price.
- Lastly, GOG's 20%-off deal on chess games has us all pushing up our glasses.
