Bookworm Adventures 2 PC Demo Released as Bookworm iPhone Drops to $1

A demo for PopCap's "vocabularious" puzzle effort Bookworm Adventures 2 (PC) is now available from FileShack, offering a sample of the just-released casual game, with PopCap also briefly dropping the price of Bookworm iPhone to a mere $0.99.

The 55MB demo of Bookworm Adventures 2 provides 60 minutes of the word-building puzzler before demanding that you pony up $19.95 for the whole shebang. If that seems a little steep, just wait--PopCap will be releasing each of the game's three chapters as individual episodes come August 19, though pricing is not yet confirmed.

Meanwhile, the sale on Bookworm iPhone (normally $4.99) will run until August 5.

Hell yes. I've been playing the Steam version of the first one for a couple weeks now. I just saw the sequel pop up on the Steam front page, and I will grab it as soon as I complete the first one.
