Beneath a Steel Sky Headed to iPhone

Revolution Software's classic PC adventure game Beneath a Steel Sky is coming to the iPhone this fall, from a new division focused on digitally-distributed handheld gaming.

"The adventure genre is undergoing a renaissance" said Revolution founder Charles Cecil in a statement. "Digital distribution has changed the game for developers... By tackling development and publishing duties ourselves, we can strengthen our relationship with [our fans] and retain complete commercial and creative freedom."

Beneath A Steel Sky - Remastered is revamped with animated movies by Watchmen co-creator Dave Gibbons, a context-sensitive help system, and higher quality audio.

More titles from the Revolution library--which includes the Broken Sword series--and original games will follow on more platforms including Android, PSP Go, and DSi Shop.

I love BASS and Broken Sword 1, I even finished the GBA version of BS1without killing myself or going blind.

Both have also been released for free via the ScummVM guys: http://www.scummvm.org/downloads/
