The latest screenshots from Level-5's action-RPG White Knight Chronicles cover a wide range, detailing everything from zoomed out landscapes and battle to menus.

Published by Sony, the PlayStation 3 exclusive is already available in Japan, with a North American release expected at some point between January and March of 2010.

i'll give it thumbs up for not using the disgusting times new roman font, but thumbs down for more asian emo crap.

Hmmm... I generally like japanese RPGs, but Im a little bored with the designs lately. There have been many RPGs for the next-gen machines (Lost Odyssey, Last Remnant, Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean), but I can hardly tell which is which by looking at the screenshots.
Its even a bit hard to tell, if a game is set in a sci-fi-world or in a medieval setting, since there are always these huge battlearmor-thingies with glowing blue/red/green/purple eyes in it.
Why do they all look (and feel) the same?

I'm a sucker for the medieval themed games. It's much easier for me to get absorbed into them for me compared to sci-fi stuff.

Here's hoping starcraft fixes that little personality flaw. =)

I really need to buy myself a console, my life long RPG crave has been in a long drought since I don't have any next-gen consoles. Sadly, I still have some ps2 RPG's I should really get back to and finish... Oh well, there's always FF6 and Chrono Trigger.
