Halo Wars Leaderboards Wiped, May Not Be Restored
by Nick Breckon, Jul 29, 2009 12:35pm PDTA glitch in the Xbox Live system has seen the leaderboards for Halo Wars evaporate, and now the game's developers are unsure of whether they will ever be reconstituted.
"An Xbox LIVE technical issue wiped all Halo Wars Xbox LIVE Leaderboards earlier today," wrote Robot Entertainment on the Halo Wars site, slowly sapping the souls of several unknown gamers with each word.
"This includes all singleplayer, multiplayer and Trueskill leaderboards, as well as all matchmaking data," added Robot Entertainment, destroying man's achievements with its uncaring fist.
"At this time it's unknown if the data can be restored, resulting in the Halo Wars Leaderboards being reset to original Launch Day status," continued Robot Entertainment, and the tear ducts opened.
"The Xbox LIVE team is investigating the cause, and they will provide an update to the situation as soon as possible," concluded Robot Entertainment, and a cheek was wiped; there was still hope of a new day.
