Morning Discussion

While The Dark Knight and Watchmen are lauded by punch-happy moviegoers as the salvation of live-action comic book adaptations, one gem died a lonely death on ABC Family this year--The Middleman. Described by People as "A happy X-Files" and bubbling with luchadores, an evil Dr. Phil, zombie fish and the best parallel universe episode ever made, The Middleman was smart, funny, and sadly seen by no one.

Rejoice, sinners! For all twelve episodes were released this week on DVD, so you can now repent and atone for your past sins. I'll forgive you. This time.

The best comic book adaptation is of course Ghost World, by the way.

The Middleman was really bad from time to time. All in all it was a very awkward experience if not familiar with the genre.
    Other pats were hilarious though

The dialogue is awesome. The delivery... getting better. I am of the liking it crowd.
