Bionic Commando, Rearmed Bundled on Steam

Capcom today added the newly-released Bionic Commando and the previously-released Bionic Commando Rearmed to Steam.

Bionic Commando and Rearmed are available for $40 and $10 respectively, or for $45 as a convenient bundle.

Bionic Commando Rearmed, the 3D remake of the original Bionic Commando, was originally set to hit Steam during its launch last August. The game was pulled from the service at the last minute, with Capcom saying it was "unable to reach mutually agreeable terms with Valve on BCR."

Oh fuck you Capcom. Just fuck you.

I bought Rearmed on another site because they were milling around for fucking ages saying it wouldn't be coming to Steam any time soon, if ever. They made it sound like it probably wouldn't ever get there.

And now they're conveniently releasing it alongside the new Commando and for cheap too!

Fuck you lying bastards.

I bought BC Rearmed directly from Capcom, but it (of course) won't let me activate it on Steam with the product key Capcom gave me.

Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Bionic Commando Rearmed is a masterpiece. I will buy it right now and play through it.

I will have bought this game on 3 platforms guys, srsly, it's how you'd want every nostalgic platformer to be remade.

Not a bad game at all. I'm just finishing it up and I have to say its a decent re-imagining of the original IP. It certainly has some flaws but overall its worth at least a rental or a reduced price purchase.

I pre-ordered Bionic Commando for $35.99 a few days ago with no mention of Rearmed. Now if I want it I would have to pay $9.99 for it. If I hadn't pre-ordered Bionic Commando I could get both for $44.99 right now. Ah well it's just a buck but it's kinda silly to penalize someone who pre-ordered your game.
