  Well mate, to put it simply, NWN2 main campaign is just bad. Bad writing, poor encounters that don't encourage much strategy or tactics, and the game aint that good looking either. But I will say this much: go play the game just to get the Mask OF THe Betrayer campaign. There the writing IS good, and you're thrown right into it with already well developed characters.
