by Chris Faylor, Jul 22, 2009 2:28pm PDTAction-RPG sequel Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 will be the first game to include an onscreen cameo from legendary comic book creator Stan Lee, publisher Activision claimed today.
Lee lent his voice and likeness to an unspecified character "significant to the game's storyline," which takes place during Marvel's recent Civil War crossover event.
"I am thrilled to be making my first onscreen videogame cameo," said Lee, known for his many cameos in Marvel films. "It's such a kick to see characters that I've helped create come to life in the game and now I'm a part of the Marvel videogame universe!"
Now confirmed for a September release, with Activision recently pointing out a GameStop listing that shows a September 15 date, MUA2 is due on PS3 and Xbox 360 care of Vicarious Visions, Wii, DS and PS2 courtesy of n-Space, and PSP via Savage.
