Morning Discussion: 'Splosion Wednesday!

I still remember the first time we heard about 'Splosion Man. It was April 1, and there were so many other joke announcements, we thought that was one of them. But no, it turned out that the story of a man who explodes his enemies into "chunks of ham and ribeyes" was real, as evidenced by its current availability on Xbox Live Arcade.

I had meant to get up early and play for a bit to provide a more comprehensive overview, but, you know how getting up early is sometimes. And hey, there's a free demo!

I said this last night, but I feel like someone forgot to give us the free Mechwarrior 4.

they are going to implement some kind of auto-updater and package it with a lot of custom content, I'm sure this might take some time.

I'm actually more forward looking towards MW:LL, I have a patched Crysis sitting on my HDD for 8 months, waiting for it.

I feel the same way, but they've had some technical issues with it, and I also heard they're adding some custom content to it, too.

I'm certain MW4 ShackBattles are in our future, though. :D

Definitely looking forward to it. I never bought any of the mechpacks or got any of this custom content from the group hosting the free games.

I think we all forgot to mentally add the footnote: "Only true for very large values of 'soon'" to that announcement.

I'm excited, but I can wait.

I eagerly await MW4s release. I even pulled out my trusty ol wingman 3d from my mom's place.
