It's been over 60 years since VE Day, and we're somehow still offing Nazis, which begs the question: did the Romans play games where they killed Carthaginians? And what does that have to do with this new Wolfenstein developer diary from Raven?

Wolfenstein, a game that is "still about using your guns," hits the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on August 18.

If they can build on Quake 4 , they'll have a winner on their hands.

For all of Quake 4's faults (rail shooting, some ugly levels and a stupid ending , it had a lot of creepy and violent moments too.
