Ah, desperate to sell the game that's been universally panned in previews by attaching a gimmick to their next sure-fire hit of a game. Pathetic.

Or just the typical extra shit that comes with a collectors edition that every company makes to promote their game.

I really doubt Bioware is desperate to sell this.

Yup. They're worried. That "hardcore new shit" rebranding and videos showing gameplay that looks circa late 1990s have not helped them. Good word of mouth is the only thing that'll save them now.

They definitely are scared for this one.

You were right the first time. Your correction would make it "They're definitely are scared for this one." :P :)

I can't help but feel the same. When a shitty or heavily panned game attaches add-ons or perks for well reviewed and popular games, I get the feeling its just begging for sales.

"Universally panned in previews"? Not sure what you've been reading.

DA might not be great. I dont see any reason why people would say ME is the new great RPG and then think DA would be terrible...other than the recent ad failure of an ad campaign by EA.

At the very least, they would all be examples of Biowares good but not great game streak they have been on since Jade Empire. Mass Effect is going to lose the crap that made the first one downright boring at times. Citadel, skeleton side quests, unwieldy menu. Other than that I expect a similiar game. They were all worth playing definitely, just not as amazing as their older stuff. Just my take...
