Free Browser Version of Street Fighter II CE Released

14
Continuing the recent spate of free releases of 1990s classics, Capcom and GameTap have now released a browser-based version of Street Fighter II CE.

The fighter is now playable on Kongregate and Ponged as a promotion of the PC release of Street Fighter IV. Annoying chatters and keyboard controls are a small price to pay for free shoryukens.

    Can't flash support joysticks ?

This is painful to play on the keyboard

Your free product displeases me. I feel I am entitled to complain about said product for which I have provided zero compensation.

Come on Lobo. It's flash based Street Fighter. How can you really expect something like that?

I play SFIV on the keyboard currently because it's the better option over the 360 controller. Until I get a proper joystick, I'll keep with it. Being able to remap the keys makes a huge difference, but the default setting that this flash port offers is playable.

If I worked on a free game I'd make sure people would enjoy it in the best possible way.

Its not like adding joystick support is the hardest part of the job

Especially if I try to promote some game. Look how unplayable it is!
