More Guitar Hero 5 Songs Confirmed as Unofficial 'Complete' List Emerges

With the September 1 release of Neversoft's multi-instrument music game sequel Guitar Hero 5 nearing, publisher Activision has confirmed a few more of the included songs. As such, we've updated our list of the tunes that have been officially announced or glimpsed.

In addition, Joystiq claims to have pieced together the "complete" 85-song list, though the site also warns that it's still "unofficial." Still, it seems to fit with songs that have been revealed since its publication and the full list of bands, so we've included it below.

First up, our compilation of the various songs that have been officially confirmed:

With the idea of virtual scarcity tossed out the window--up to four players can now jam on guitar at the same time, for example, so long as you have enough of the respective peripheral--and difficulty and instruments changeable mid-song, Guitar Hero 5 hits PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii on September 1.
