The demo for Asobo Games' open-world racer FUEL arrives today for PC, Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation 3. We have the 1.04GB PC demo over on FileShack.

The demo contains the 'Ocean Breeze' race and 'Blitz' checkpoint challenge. The console demo also includes two weeks of online play for Ocean Breeze and a free ride zone. FUEL was released on consoles in June then for PC in early July.

I would still like to know why Codemasters removed the game from Steam, no explanation and no way to buy it, but hey! I can play the demo! >=(

Maybe it has something to do with the disastrous reviews this game is getting.

This game is terrible. So much hype but the game is just bad. It's right up there with the worst racing games I have played. :(

I so wanted this game to be good :( I loved the idea of an open world off-road racer.

It was on Steam at some point?? Codemasters should fucking focus on releasing the GRID patch that will stop people from cheating in online races. And bring the DLC that's already released to the PC/Steam users. They seem to kinda be a gimpy company.
