FUEL Demo Released
by Alice O'Connor, Jul 09, 2009 8:10am PDTThe demo for Asobo Games' open-world racer FUEL arrives today for PC, Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation 3. We have the 1.04GB PC demo over on FileShack.
The demo contains the 'Ocean Breeze' race and 'Blitz' checkpoint challenge. The console demo also includes two weeks of online play for Ocean Breeze and a free ride zone. FUEL was released on consoles in June then for PC in early July.

Ouch
The environment is huuuuuuuge but the handling is so poor, so unrealistic, so without nuance or skill... it's awful.
This feels WORSE than a Motocross Madness clone attempt from 10 years ago. The tactile physics is not there. 200 foot fall and a 20 foot fall feels exactly the same. There are PSP games better than this.
I just went from being super excited about it to hugely disappointed.
