Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Hits XBLA on July 29
by Chris Faylor, Jul 09, 2009 7:15am PDTThe wait is almost over, as Capcom has announced that the downloadable re-release of cult classic crossover fighter Marvel vs. Capcom 2 hits Xbox 360 on Wednesday, July 29.
No date was provided for the PlayStation 3 edition, of which a demo is already available, with Capcom's Twitter noting that the date will be "announced soon". Later, it added that the "PSN version of Marvel VS Capcom 2 is not coming at same time as XBLA."
Priced at 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), the re-release adds online multiplayer, an optional widescreen view and filters for upscaled visuals courtesy of porting studio Backbone.
